۲۰۱۴- Present I started working in Donya English institute as both supervisor &
teacher in all levels.
I’m currently working at Donya English Institute, in Sanandaj a city in the west of Iran,
as an English teacher for all levels; I’m also responsible as the supervisor of the institute
and supervise another language center for few hours in a week.
In fact I’ve been teaching for nearly fourteen years in all levels, starting from
preschool level, and gaining the experience of working with all ages through these years.
I’ve been practicing in elementary and intermediate levels to develop syllabus for
different levels, setting questions for the institute final exams, selecting and introducing
appropriate books for the institute, observing the classes to check the students’ progress
and the teachers’ successes and failures in their jobs, and also training and selecting
teachers for different institutes in Sanandaj such as Dony, Ferdaos, Dena & Seraj.
I have also prepared a series of English booklets in four series that are used in the
institutes I’m currently working for. These series are carefully prepared based on my
experiences of teaching elementary students to teach reading and writing skills in the
order of phonics sounds plus speaking & listening. The output of these series are
students who learn speaking through a chain series of conversation questions, sentences
and related topics and also get plenty amount of listening through other songs and films
in addition to reading and writing. I have also prepared some other booklets for primary
English learners which I am practicing them in my kids classes, they are also based on a
well developed syllabus prepared based on the experiences and the needs of the students
of this level.
I haven’t spent all the years of my teaching only in my city; I’ve moved to other
places to learn and practice teaching more about TEFL with a different mother tongues.
I’ve spent one year in Tehran teaching and supervising other teachers at a school and
also a kindergarten, after that went back to the same working place in Sanandaj. Also in
۲۰۱۳ I went to Kurdistan in Iraq, before the completion of my thesis, there I worked as
both teacher and supervisor in a private mixed elementary school. Since ISIS invaded
the country I went back to Iran and the same work place I had served.
